Welcome to Glance a Day. By installing or using the extension or this website you agree to these terms.
1. The service
The extension provides a lunar month calendar with solar terms, festivals, public holidays and make-up workdays, the daily almanac, event management and optional one-way Google Calendar sync in your browser toolbar. It is free of charge.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the extension on your devices. You may not use it unlawfully, tamper with it maliciously, or distribute modified versions under its name.
3. Almanac content is for cultural reference only
Almanac entries (宜 / 忌, spirits, luck, eight characters…) are part of traditional Chinese culture, computed by an open-source library, and provided for cultural reference only. They are not advice; do not base medical, financial, legal or other important decisions on them.
4. Official holiday schedules prevail
China's public holidays and make-up workdays are as officially published by the State Council; US federal holidays as published by the US government. We update the data promptly but do not guarantee it is complete or accurate at all times.
5. Third-party services
Google Calendar sync relies on Google's services and is subject to Google's terms and privacy policy. Outages, changes or limits of third-party services are outside our control.
6. Disclaimer
The extension is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for any direct or indirect loss (including lost data or missed appointments) arising from using or being unable to use it. Please export backups of important data regularly.
7. Termination
You may stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop providing the service to you if you breach these terms.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time and will change the date on this page. Continuing to use the extension means you accept the updated terms.
